Mrs. Elsa Aguilar

My name is Elsa Aguilar, and I am the teacher of your most precious first graders.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Science with a major in Tourism in one of the state universities in the Philippines. I also hold an Early Childhood, a Pastoral Ministry, and a Christian Leadership certificate.

I started my teaching career in 1989, took a break to do missions and be a stay-at- home mom to my first born. I resumed teaching in 1996 and never looked back. I have been with Pacific Christian Academy (formerly CFS) since 2003.

My family and I migrated to the US in 2000. I am married and have two children. Jonathan, my oldest, is happily married to Carly. Both are alumni of PCA. Kristinne, my youngest, is a Golden Graduate of PCA. I am a blessed Lola (grandma) of twins, a boy and a girl.

I love to play the drums, watch the New England Patriots, and am not a fan of anything that concerns vanilla and ice cream.  My favorite Bible verse is found in Psalm 37:23-24 which says, "The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand."

I love PCA because the school greatly helped my oldest child transition into his new life here in America. PCA is a great place to be, where everyone feels like family.
