Mrs. Rachel Johnston

I am so excited to be a part of PCA!  This is my seventh year here but my 13th year in teaching.

I have been married for 28 years to my husband, Rob.  We have 3 amazing children: our oldest, Robert, is 25; our middle son, Nate, graduated from PCA in 2020 and is attending Grand Canyon University in Arizona; and our daughter, Lily, is 13 and in 8th grade at PCA.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Maternal and Infant Nutrition and Consumer Sciences at Central Washington University and my Masters in Education from the University of Phoenix.

Owls are my favorite animal so you will see them all over my classroom.  We also have 5 guinea pigs that I adore! My favorite place in God's creation is the beach, and you will often hear that I went to the beach just to spend the day.  We are so blessed to have the mighty Pacific Ocean right at our back door!

My favorite verse is Romans 12:12: "Rejoice in hope; be patient in affliction; be persistent in prayer. "
